Hi! I'm Oscar! I am the sweetest and most handsomest good boy. I am friendly, I am playful, I am snuggly, and I am adapting well at the shelter. It's kind of like my second home. I originally came to the shelter years ago, from Animal Control. (If you've been a friend of the shelter for a while, you might even remember me!) This is when I met my best friend, Pesto. (We both were at Animal Control separately, and came here. Then we got to know each other and became best buddies.)
We were adopted, then returned a few days later. (Our new Mom didn't know she was allergic.) We were adopted again, then returned a year later due to family losing their home. Then we were adopted yet again, and were happy in our home. Then a few years later our Mom had an accident and needed to go to a rehab facility. Her family was in a rush to get rid of us. As much as the shelter loves us — and loves seeing us — they are sad all of this happened.
I am bonded with Pesto, and we do need to go home together. No matter what, we always have each other. We are settling in, and waiting for our truly forever home again. We just want to be loved. Will yours be that final forever home we deserve? Come and meet us! We will melt your heart!

Hi! I'm Pesto! I am a gorgeous and fluffy girl, with the cutest white mittens. I am sweet, but very timid in the shelter. I am having a hard time re-adjusting to being here. You see, this isn't my first time in the shelter. It's not even my second time. It's my fourth. I originally came to the shelter years ago, as a transfer from Animal Control. This is where I met my best buddy, my rock, my Oscar.
We were adopted, then returned a few days later. (Our new Mom didn't know she was allergic.) We were adopted again, then returned a year later due to family losing their home. Then we were adopted yet again, and were happy in our home. Then fast forward a few years, and our Mom had an accident and needed to go into rehab. Her family was in such a rush to get rid of us, so back to the shelter we went.
I am bonded with Oscar, and we do need to go home together. He is my safe space. I am having a hard time opening up. I am having a hard time trusting. It's hard when you have a good and happy life, then have it ripped away from you. The shelter will always love us and take care of us. But it's just not fair. I know none of this is my fault, but I still need someone to give me time and patience. Someone to show me that it's going to be OK again.
