Employer Donation Matching

Does your company offer donation matching? Employer donation matching—or a matching gift program—is a corporate giving program where companies match employee donations to eligible charities. This can potentially double (or even triple) the impact of your contributions, allowing nonprofits to receive larger donations and increase their funding.

For example: If an employee donates $50 to a local organization, and their company matches the donation, the organization receives a total of $100. (Or even $150 if an employer offers triple matching on that donation!) Employer donation matching is a win-win for employees, nonprofits, and companies alike, fostering a culture of giving and boosting the impact of charitable contributions.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We DO NOT receive any state or federal-level government funding. We run solely on the generous donations from our friends and supporters. Want to make a donation? Check with your employer if they do donation matching. (We will be happy to provide a tax receipt.)

Where Do Your Donations Go?

We thank you for supporting Purrfect Cat Rescue's mission of rescuing, sheltering, and re-homing cats and kittens in need. Every dollar donated goes toward food, supplies, and medical care of the animals in our shelter and foster homes.

Here is a breakdown of where your donations go:

  • $5 | a wand toy –OR– a small bag of cat litter
  • $15 | 12 cans of wet food –OR– 1 bag of dry kitten food
  • $25 | a cat carrier –OR– a scratcher
  • $50 | medical necessities (such as microchips, SNAP test, vaccines)
  • $100 | 1 spay or neuter surgery –OR– 1 bag of veterinary / prescription food
  • $500 | Full medical for a litter of 5 kittens –OR– insulin for 1 diabetic kitty for a year
  • $5,000 | an ER visit for a sick cat –OR– an ER visit for an injured stray in need
