Resident Purrofile:
Hi! I'm Hurley! I am a handsome little guy—and I kind of look cross-eyed. I think it makes me even cuter! I am one of 40 kitties from a local hoarding house (where the owner passed away). I am very playful … You should see me bunny-kick my toys! I am sweet and mellow, spending a lot of my time hanging out in my cat bed. After everything I've been through, I like to know that people are around.
I am FIV+, which is a feline immunodeficiency virus. It means my immune system is compromised, and it may have a harder time fighting off infections. I can live a happy, healthy and normal life, with a normal life span. I cannot pass FIV onto humans, and FIV can only be spread to another cat through deep bite wounds—like you would see in cats living outside who might have to aggressively fight for food or territory.
