One day I was curled up in my home, and the next I was brought to the vet to be euthanized. I was diagnosed with a hyperthyroid, and my owner didn't want to treat it. The folks at the shelter got a call to help save me—they didn't want to see me put down for something treatable! (I will need medication, but the shelter people are getting me started on a regimen.)
