Resident Purrofile:
Hi! I'm Cadbury! I am the sweetest girl—don't let my face fool you. I have a face that says "leave me alone", but that couldn't be further from the truth. I love attention … and pets! I will purr, roll over, go belly up, and make air biscuits with my front paws. I love to curl up in a kitty condo and chill. I've been that way since I was little!

I have a long story to tell, and my sweetness belies the truth of my life ... I have been through it. As a kitten, I was dumped at the shelter with my 3 siblings. Someone drove in, dumped us in the parking lot, and just drove off. (That was on a Good Friday before Easter, so we all got Easter-themed names.) My sister, Bunny, and I were adopted together, but then returned after the small children became too much for us. It just wasn't the right fit. We were adopted again—and we thought this was going to be forever. Instead, our human moved out and left us behind in the apartment. Like we were nothing, like we never even mattered. Fortunately, someone saw and took us in. They couldn't keep us, but they got in touch with our Shelter Mommy. (When she learned it was actually us left behind, it broke her heart even more.) We quickly found out my sister was sick and had a tumor in her head that couldn't be removed. There was nothing that could be done to save her.

So here I am, a duo that is now a single. I've been through a lot of life changes, but this one is the most different. Before—I've always had my sister by my side. Now it's just me. I want a forever home. I deserve a forever home. Someone who not only says they will always be there for me and include me no matter what, but someone who will actually do it. If I'm just going to be disposable to you ... please scroll on by.
