Hi! I'm Joey! I am the cutest little gray tiger tabby kitty. (Once you see my white paws and beautiful green eyes, you will instantly fall in love!) I am chill, but can be a little nippy. I am curious and just have a lot of energy and need to burn it off!
I do need an experienced pet or kitty owner—someone who can give me patience and extended playtime. I need to be an only kitty, but I *might* be OK with a doggo friend.

We will be open until 8 PM as usual. We will also be open on Friday, October 31 from 5 PM until 8 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 3 PM. The kitties will be happy to see you!

Hi! I'm Dusty! I am a super sweet (but shy) tortie girl. I love attention—even though I'm not quite confident enough to ask for it yet. If you sit and spend time with me, I will come out from my hidey place and be close to you. There are just so many noises in the shelter and I'm not used to them all yet! Other kitties playing, people coming and going, doors opening and closing ... sometimes I get nervous and hide. Give me time, love, and patience, though, and I will become the best kitty I can be!
I am one of the kitties that came from the local 40-cat hoarding house. Even though we all lived together, I am not the most confident with other kitties. I don't have that dominant type personality, and I would be good with being the only kitty in a calm and quiet home. I am interested in watching the birdies through the window, and I might even chase a spring toy or two!

Hi! I'm Lovey! I am just like my name—I get all Lovey Dovey with you. I like to be pet, I like to rub up against your hand, and I like getting so much attention! You can call my name and I will perk my head up from wherever I am sleeping, and run over to you.
I am very communicative and will chat with you. We can be best buds and talk about the happenings of our day. I would LOVEY that! I am also supurr playful—I play almost like a kitten. I will run and jump and pounce those toys. I like the ribbon wand toys A LOT.
I was one of the 40 cats rescued from a hoarding house, yet I am very social ... just not with other cats. I lived with a bunch of 'em, but I'm good flying solo from here on out. Come and meet me! I think you'll love me as much as I'll love you!

Hi! I'm Penelope! I am a beautiful, fluffy calico girl, with the prettiest green eyes. I was raised by my previous owner, who bottle-fed me as a baby. She recently passed away, and her family made an appointment to have me euthanized. Why? I am sweet ... I am healthy ... and I am only 6 years old. Instead—fortunately—I found my way to the shelter for a second chance at life.
I am a loveable girl, but I do not love other cats. I would do best as an only kitty in a calmer, quieter home. I'm still adjusting to all these new changes. I enjoy playtime, and I'm having fun swatting and batting around some ribbon wand toys.
