Shelter Kitties of the Week

Meet Summer!

Hi! I'm Summer! I am a sweet—but a little shy—petite orange tabby kitten. I came into the shelter after being found with my 5 young kittens. Yes, you read that right. I am a kitten that had kittens. (PLEASE ... Spay and neuter your pets!)

I did a great job raising my little ones, and now we are all ready and waiting for our forever homes. I am affectionate, and will give little kisses on your hands and fingers. Now that the kittens are grown, I am starting to explore more. But when one of the babies is crying, "Momma Mode" is back on and to the rescue!

I would like to go home with one of my littles, Mango. She is like me—calm, quiet, affectionate, and on the shier side. If you're looking for well-mannered, adorable kitties ... look no further!

Meet Mango!

Hi! I'm Mango! I am an adorable, sweet, and friendly little orange tabby kitten. I might be a little on the shy side, but I also have a curious and explorer side. I am generally a very quiet kitty, but when I'm scared or unsure of something, I will let out a cute little meow. I like to climb and play, and I love to snuggle with other kitties. What is it that humans say—"Work hard, play hard?" Well, my motto is "Play hard, nap harder!" LOL!

While I get along great with other kitties, I'd like to go home with my Momma, Summer. My brothers are knuckleheads, and I'm a little too demure for that. (I mean that in the dictionary way, not the TikTok way.)

Oh, and I didn't mention my little white paws! They're adorable! You'll have to come and meet me first, though. I don't give feet pics away for free, you weirdo.)

Available for adoption now!

Meet Maggie Roo-Roo!

Hi! I'm Maggie Roo-Roo! At 12 years old, I was abandoned at the shelter, with nothing but a paper plate that had my name on it. So, while everything in my life has been turned upside-down, I still have my name. I can't tell you what my life was like before, but I can tell you about me now. I'm *very* communicative! I make these really cute duck-like quack-grunt sounds.

I sometimes come off as really grumbly, but I have come a long way. (Shelter life doesn't agree with every cat.) But I am learning to like getting pets, and I will purr against your hand. I must have been a boxer in a previous life because I will go toe-to-toe with my wand toys like Rocky on Apollo Creed.

I need a quiet home where I can be a single girl, sort of set in her ways. If you're looking for a conversationalist, I am your girl! We can gab about our days, and share the latest gossip. Come and meet me! Available for adoption now!

Meet White Socks!

Hi! I'm White Socks! I am a very pretty girl, with golden eyes and striking markings. (Oh, and my fancy white feet!) I may wear a mask, but I'm not that mysterious. (I'm just practicing for my upcoming Phantom of the O-purr-a audition. You could say it's a role I was born to play! LOL!)

I am one of the 40 cats recently taken in from a local hoarding house. And you'd think with all those kitties around me that I would like to go home with a buddy. But nope. I'd like to be an only kitty, thank you very much. (I will not be upstaged by an understudy!) Am I a diva? I'm really not. I'm a sweet girl, with a shy streak. I put on a brave face because life has been hard—especially with all these changes lately. I'm still getting the hang of receiving love and attention from humans. But I'm looking forward to my forever home ... where I can be your leading lady! Available for adoption now!

Meet Kobe!

Hi! I'm Kobe! I am a good, sweet boy that loves to play, then loves to rest. I am a big 4-year-old boy with BIG jumps -- you should see me chase a wand toy! I get some air! I can also be a little shy and slow to warm up, but I love my people once I get to know them. (I'm not a fan of loud noises or commotion, and they do stress me out a little. But I enjoy watching bird videos when I get anxious.)

I am waiting so patiently for my forever home. (I had been adopted and returned, after the resident kitty started to pick on me.) I am a gentle, easy-going giant and I just want my own human. (My human was so sad to have to bring me back. I was such a good boy!)

I would love to be adopted as an only kitty. I'm waiting to be your best friend! Available for adoption now!

Meet Frey!

Hi! I'm Frey! I am a friendly and easy-going orange tabby boy. I was found outside by a landscaper who quickly realized I was way too friendly to be a "living outside" type of kitty. It was a hot day, and he contacted the shelter to see if they could take me in. So here I am!

In a recent survey*, it was determined that I am the most adorable orange boy ever. (*Sure, I was the only one asked ... but I'm pretty sure everyone would agree!) I have the cutest kitten-y face. I mean, just look at me! I am playful and fun, and want to have someone as into playtime as I am. (Fun fact: I also like to eat. So I need the extra cardio!) Available for adoption now!
