Join Pablo’s Family Fiesta Restaurant in Crystal Lake for our first ever Furry Fiesta to benefit the resident kitties at Purrfect Cat Rescue! This two-day event will feature food, vendors, kids activities, live music, and raffles. For more information, click here.

Sunday, August 9 | The Freeze for Felines Ice Cream Fundraiser
Join us for an ice cream fundraiser event at The Freeze in Crystal Lake. Order your favorite summertime treat and give back to the coolest cats around! From noon to 10:00 PM, 20% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated back to the shelter! For more info and the fundraiser flyer, click here.

August 8 – August 22 | ONEHOPE Wine Fundraiser
Do you like wine? If so, here’s a simple way to enjoy your favorite beverage and help Purrfect Cat Rescue at the same time! ONEHOPE Wine will donate 10% of your purchase to us.

Place your first order between August 8th and August 22nd.

"Chips & Clips" Drive-Thru Nail Trims

Sunday, May 3rd | 11 AM - 2 PM

Join Purrfect Cat Rescue and our partner, Pablo’s Family Fiesta, for a Chips & Clips drive-thru nail trim event. Drive up to the shelter, get chips and salsa (provided by Pablo’s next door), and drive around to the back for the nail trims. To reduce contact, dogs will be clipped outside. Kitties will be brought inside the shelter (to our back room) and clipped.

The cost is $10. Additional nail trims are $5 per pet. Cats must be in a carrier; dogs must be on a leash.

The shelter is located at 318 N. Rte 31, Crystal Lake, IL 60012.

PCR Temporarily Closed to the Public

Effective Wednesday, March 18th – May 30th

Purrfect Cat Rescue is going to do our part in helping cut the spread of COVID-19 / coronavirus. We will be closed to the public until May 30th (or until the “stay at home” order is lifted).

IMPORTANT: If you are on Facebook, our website, Adopt-a-Pet, or Petfinder and see a kitty you are interested in, PLEASE reach out to us and let’s talk. We still want to make those forever home connections! Contact us at (815) 900-8221 (shelter phone) or deb@purrfectcatrescue.com.

We will still have and need volunteer cat care shifts — mornings, everyday from 9 AM until noon and evenings from 6 PM until 8 PM. You must sign up for the shift. We have taken out cat socializers and shelter greeters for these two weeks, but we still need volunteers to help with those shelter / cat needs. If you have been in to the shelter, you know we work with lots of bleach and disinfectants already. We do ask that if you are not feeling well, are coughing and sneezing, please stay home and take care of yourself. We will be here when you feel healthy.
